I've had success at bluenile.com and love their "build your own" setup. Easy to see the GIA certs, easy to narrow your options, etc. Also, you can get coupons and cash back from places like fatwallet.com. I put 5% back into my paypal account for car goodies :) I did less than 3 months but it was still enough to buy a very nice rock. I went with a ~1.3 carat, signature ideal cut (a bluenile rating thats very nice), F color and VS1 clarity brilliant round setup for a pendant. I've been patiently waiting for our special day......... Unfortunately, diamonds have become a humanitarian nightmare fueled by a big marketing scam but they make for beautiful jewelry that becomes a nice heirloom to pass to kids. Most major stores (tiffany & bluenile included) are conflict free.
